Nice ferry service!

Perfect and safe!
The trip started and finished at time and everybody aboard was very nice and gentle.

5 stars service
Great overall experience

We got the 16:30 ferry to Praslin to Mahe. You have to go to the ticket office first to drop off your bags which we did and went very smoothly.
The boarded started 30 minutes before departure and for business there is a priority queue so there were no queueing for us.
The rest of the passengers seem to board smoothly as well.
The ferry left on time and there were no delays.
The business class is upstairs inside and the seats are very comfy. The ac did smell a bit musty but not to the point of effecting the overall experience.
The weather was sunny and according to the sea forecast there were only 1.1 meters wave height and it felt just fine for me. I am from Greece and I have travelled in rough seas so this was nothing for me. Do note though that these ferries do rock a lot even on slight seas so if you get sea sick easily this might not be the best option for you.
The ferry arrived in Praslin on time and the off loading of the luggage was not chaotic at all like other reviews mention. The staff courteously off loaded one bag at the time and went into the effort of allocating the owner of each luggage.
I will use again.
Fast ferry line for reccommendation

I bought the tickets online few weeks before the trip and with a printed confirmation we got our tickets at the Mahe office (for both trips, from and to Mahe). The tickets were for the economy lower deck. Advise to be at the ferry minimum 30 min before departure, ideally 45 mins.
The embarkment was quick with no hassle. The Cat Cocos team is quick (and gentle) with the luggage. The ride was 1 hour and comfortable, as the AC was working and the sea was calm.
Not seasick at all! If you get seasick here, you get seasick in your own bathtub
CocoJambo87, 14-11-2022
I don’t know what everybody is complaining about but if you get seasick here you get seasock in your own bathtub. It was perfect! Service was good, there is enough staff and they all help you on your way. There was plenty of room on the boat even it was fully booked! Cat Cocos, you were great! Thank you!
Oh God

The staff were lovely & the crossing is speedy BUT - myself & at least 10 more passengers vomited into the hastily supplied sick bags by the staff!! They are clearly used to this been a regular occurrence. It’s like a rollercoaster for an hour. Honestly would never want to do it again.
Rough Ride
Tianja_S, 19-08-2022
Because we traveled during the windy season the ferry ride was rough. To make matters worse they still have a mask policy so picture yourself about to puke because the ride is rough but then you have a mask on. Not sure whose bright idea it was to require a mask on a ferry that is this rough when the chances of your choking on your own puke are far higher than you dying from covid at this stage in the pandemic. Hopefully they get rid of the requirement soon considering that nowhere else we visited on the Island has a mask mandate.
The ferry was great. We...

The ferry was great. We paid for business and there was no drinks or snacks as advertised. A family was also on there who had not paid for this and were rather noisy
Excellent if you have travelled in high speed ferries before for more than 45 mins

Service wise they are excellent, but I rated average because of overall experience which is majorly caused by sea sickness. Beware, even if you think you are good, this trip can bring worst out of you. More than 50% of CO-passengers got it. My family got so scared that we cancelled return ferry and booked flight from Praslin to Mahé.
