Must do your to appreciate island history, vegetation and views

Only booked day before trip as wanted to ensure a clear day so you could see the fantastic views at the top of the trail (apparently low cloud sometimes means you are in mist/cloud and can’t see anything). Communication really good from tour company confirming trip. Guide Ryan was excellent..text on morning to confirm hotel pick up time. Ryan really made the trip..very relaxed style giving island history and extremely knowledgable about vegetation and wildlife when walking through the forest trail. This is a pretty hard walk up steep paths in humid conditions so you do need to be in reasonable shape to complete safely. Trainers are sufficient, but wouldn’t recommend sandals or flip flops. About 1 hour hard walk if you are fit going up, otherwise 1.5-2.0 hours.. Views at the the top are fantastic all round..Victoria, adjacent highest mountain peak, nearest islands and national marine park. Ryan also stopped off for me in Victoria town centre on way back to see some of the key sites. Total tour including town centre detour around 4 hours. Great little trip made by excellent guide Ryan.
Fun experience with an excellent tour guide

Ryan, the owner of Island Exploration Seychelles, is a really good guide to do a hike. What I liked most about him was that he gave me a lot of information about the nature and the land and on the other hand let me enjoy the peace of nature. His guidance on the trail and his driving are very safe. I really appreciated that he offered to cancel my tour - as it was raining for two days - and mentioned that the view would not be as good as usual, but still did the hike with me on my request. Thanks again for the great hiking tour!
Best guide ever

We booked the trip to the Copolia trail and immediately got a response from our guide Ryan. He picked us up at our hotel as agreed. When we arrived at the tour, it started to rain. Ryan immediately canceled the trip due to security reasons. He immediately offered that we could take the trip again the following day. On the way back, we made several stops where Ryan told about the island and its history. The day after we woke up and unfortunately it rained again. We received an email where Ryan offered us and cancel the tour and her our Monet back or we could go on a half day tour of our choice, which we chose. Ryan drove us around the island and told us all about its history and culture. Eventually we found a beach where we could dive and enjoy the sun. We highly recommend that anyone who wants a good experience to book a trip with Ryan when thet str on Mahé.

Amazing and beautiful tour!

We had the best time hiking up this amazing trail. Ryan was such an incredible, knowledgeable and accommodating guide. Ryan shared interesting information about Seychelles culture and history with us. The views from the top of the trail were so beautiful. It is a challenging climb to the top but manageable, and I’m definitely happy we were guided because it would have been a lot more difficult to navigate on our own. We were traveling to Praslin afterward, and Ryan even dropped us off at the Cat Coco station and arranged transportation for us in Praslin to our hotel. Cannot say enough nice things about this experience! Definitely a must see. One of our favorite experiences on our honeymoon in the Seychelles!
Amazing hike & INCREDIBLE guide <3

Woooooooow !
I woudn't even know to start !

Let s start by the obvious: the hike is AMAZING, insane landscapes and view points, easy difficulty level and incredible sights. i had a blast and after spending 9 days in Seychelles i can easily say this was the best spent one, Perfect way to get familiar wit the landscapes , the fauna & flora & the vibe.

Continuing with the best part : Ryan is an incredible guide & to be honest ay more than a guide. during the hike, he patiently explains about the endemic vegetation and animals, gives constant info about local life in all senses of the terms, answers all and every question thoughtfully and most importantly is all around a kind, funny & amazing human being.

SO happy I ran accross Ryan & his company, and can only very very vey warlmy recommend ! Do it! You'll thank me later =)
